Spice Chicken Soup

Flu season is here and in full force in Cincinnati. Here is a delicious, nutrition, gluten-free, dairy-free, mega healthy chicken soup to make your body and belly very happy. I hope you enjoy!

Spice Chicken Soup 

1 lb. shredded white chicken breast (or 1 can of navy beans if vegetarian)

4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

2 cups frozen broccoli 

1 cup chopped carrots 

1 cup frozen peas (I subbed with cauliflower and mushroom based on what I had) 

2 tbs. parsley 

2 tbs. minced garlic

2 tbs. EVOO

1 tsp. turmeric

1 tsp. paprika 

1 tsp. crush red pepper 

1 tsp. black pepper 

Combine all ingredient in crockpot. Cook on high for approx. 4 hours or low for approx. 4-6. 

Makes 2-4 servings.
